safety first..

i've been driving here and there now for 2 weeks... so i'm pretty much in 'tune' with the normal road users habit... does that means i can forgo safety? haha nope..

i have to explain first of all... my dad will be the man who will hold onto my handbrakes when i start driving... haaa man it's quite irritating when we reached a jam or hold-up... yeah my dad's quite an impatient guy... so i thought.. maybe i should try driving the way he drives.. let him have a feel of how i feel when he's driving... which is very very fast.. but he's skilled la i'm not.. so...

the result is very enlightening... my dad shares the same sentimentality with me haa!! but while driving like this i almost had an accident.. so i was going down from timah.. then i notice this vios driver driving pretty slow... i think he's either not qualified to drive or he's just a starter... but i'm not going to assume... let's just say he(or she) wasn't so careful at that moment.. what happened was he overtook a bus and went onto the right lane, the lane i was in... then he drove pretty slow... and i was about to turn left then, so i moved to the left and hurried off while he remained on the right lane.. when i was almost next to him, he then signalled left and moved left, where my car was(didn't check blindspot). i was like ?!???!.. jam braked... biang.. my dad flew off the seat.. cos well, he never puts on seatbelts.. while i was rather concern with my dad, i thought.. i almost had an accident.. actually before that i kinda have a vision that that vios was about to move to the left.. and something's not right with the driver... whatever it is.. i shouldn't have went ahead to meet up with that vios.. but because of that vision when that vios conveniently switches it's lane i was prepared to stop... thank God... it was His vision..

i thought to myself.. haha pap, now let's see if u still wanna complain that i drive slowly.. then i thought again.. no from now onwards i'm going to put safety first no matter what.. fast or slow i'm going to follow safety and be aware and conscious of it.. no one can change that unless they wanna take over my seat.. i'm not going to bother whether my dad nags at me anymore.. no more personal agenda... driving is a pleasure.. let me enjoy it haaaa

A song within

I always thought that every situation, every happening has a song to describe it.. hidden, in it. Much like what desmond(sorry to take what u have said into my post! hehe) mentions the way he fits songs into ppl, it's kinda like within each and every object.. and hey... it's not that difficult to understand is it? so long as you can feel the "goosebumps" when hearing that song(amen pastor jeremy).

But then i realised it's gotta be something deeper.. deeper than our feelings.. otherwise... all of us would only be reactions... Let me show you a portion of 7 HEP which speaks about love.. maybe you will understand..

I am convinced that to study love, you have to study those who sacrifice for others, even for the people who offend or do not love in return, that's why I study Christ, and not dig up 'facts'. That man didn't have much faith, in fact he didn't even thought of stepping out.. he didn't know he could.. "Love is a value that is actualized through loving actions".

For this i am speechless, like i remember once when elvin's singing 'How deep the Father's love'. He couldn't sing and kept crying. i thought then, wow, something powerful. Now i know, it's the effect of the Father's love, too deep that he couldn't even describe it, yet at the same time he showed it perfectly. I am speechless, and as I continue my walk with Christ, I guess i'll still be..

The Father

Allo people. I'm back in KT for a couple of days before heading to KL again for the last two weeks of sch before mid-sem break hits off. Came back home for my Dajie, my baobei vios and my license.

My 'P' license have expired for 5days and i didnt have the time and energy to go all the way from Subang to PJ or watever to change my license. So i decided to come back and renew it. I was cracking my head how to renew it. I was calling my friends in KL asking what you need what this and that. Then after i came back home, I tried calling my driving instructor to get him to do it for me. But all these fails due to various reasons. One that is of course, time. I need to get my license on Tuesday morning so that i can drive up to KL again. My driving instructor could only get it done on tuesday evening. As i was cracking my head, ransaking every cells, i have forgetten someone i can turn to. He is Daddy Tan.

Daddy Tan was helpful and he contacted his Transport Ministry(JPJ) runner aka agent. The surprising thing is that, his runner got it done for me within FOUR hours including travellin 1 hour to the ministry and 1 hour back. Besides this, he delivered my new license to my doorstep. All my problems solved.

As i ponder again, we often take things in our hands, not allowing our Heavenly Father to do something that is more beautiful and excellent. When we are faced with hurdles, we often mastered our own strength despite the already established 24/7 helpline to the Heavenly Father. A helpline with no dialing. Just a simple 'Father', the 'phone' will automatically dial to Heaven.

What a great Synergiz nite that was on 170307! God was doing so much in all of us the presence of God was just AWESOME... Jeff Deyo's such a wonderful worship leader... Its not about how nice the songs he sings, how great his voice is, but how he is able to lead all of us into worshipping God in His presence, how he's so sensitive to the Holy Spirit... That's what worship leading is about! When God's presence sweeps through the sanctuary like it did on that day, there's no stopping Him... Bound to be hit by the powerful presence of God...

During the altar time, I felt God speak something to me and thought I would just share it... He put this in my heart...... This is IT! We've been through so many encounters, conferences, camps blah blah blah and each time we felt the presence of God and Him changing us... But weeks later, we forget all about it and go back to our old ways... What's the point? So much for the changing power of God only for us to go back to our old ways? No.. No more... This is the last time... God says we have to make a stand this time never to go back again... Let this fire burn in us forever.. No more "I'm looking forward to the next encounter/camp/conference to let God light up the fire in me" cause the fire is already in you and you shall not let it die down... You don't need 10 encounters/camps/conferences to light the fire in you... You only need 1 God... Time to put things right and keep the fire burning... Rock on for Jesus! :)
